I have become obsessed with Pinterest. All the ideas for do it yourself projects. And being able to pin them on various boards. It's like a visual wish list and all my millions of magazine inpirations can be collected in one spot. I am inspired to paint my furniture--and remake the pieces into something completely different. I'm getting a new bed and searching for creative head board ideas. I want to paint the inside of my white glass paned kitchen cabinets green. I love color and I love paint--just need to find the time.
I am also planning my outdoor dining area on my back deck-right outside the kitchen. My parents are moving and giving me two out door table sets. I'd love to incorporate an outdoor couch to the area. Lots of plants in pretty planters.
I have a long list of projects I'd really like to accomplish. One by one they get done..though not as quickly as I wish!
This is my current list--in random order: Water catchment system (my well is very inefficient and cost a lot in gas) Get bathhouse plumbed (again) and add a wood burning stove to make it a sauna. Make a trash enclosure Get a hot tub-or make one from my big round stock tank (MotherEarth News had an article). Grow more fruit/nut trees (would love to add walnut, avocado, more grapes, more apples, pears, plums). Get goats (lots of brush to clear, poison oak and would use manure) Aviary off the side of the kitchen for the parrots (to get them out of the kitchen but still close part of the family).
